Dear Reader, Last week I attended my second Women in Publishing Summit. Last year at this time, I had just attended the virtual conference for the first time. I wrote about my experience in one of my very first newsletters--but this year, it felt different. Last year at the conference:
This year at the conference:
How did I go from point A to point B? I did some deep reflection and writing. I considered my values, how I wanted to spend my time, what was important to me, and what impact I was ready to make on the world. I set goals for my writing, for my new business, and for my life. I became more focused than ever on what I wanted to achieve. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. I got clear on the support I would need to make it happen, and I made a plan. A coherent plan that took into account all aspects of my goal – my business, my book, and my personal commitments. And then I showed up with the rigor* required to get it done.. It wasn’t easy and there were roadblocks. And I didn’t hit all my goals. But I never let myself give up… and I DID finish my book. (*Side note: rigor in my world implies balance not difficulty. Learn more about that idea when you work with me! 😉) Isn’t it crazy what we see when we look back on a single year? I’m grateful to have these small moments where growth becomes clear, as my tendency is to feel somewhat stagnant. What’s one thing you can celebrate accomplishing, moving, or shifting over the last year?
This kind of transformation is what I offer in my 8-week FCR coaching program. Eight hour-long sessions to set you up for a major transition – building the plan to get you there.

And now...The book design is done! The last few days have been a revolving door of design fun. I'm so thankful for the team at Ink Worthy Books for being so incredibly thoughtful through the interior and cover design process. Even the first proofs felt so "on brand" for me--it was fun to just play with little tweaks here and there to come up with a design that I love. Here's a sneak peak at the front cover: I truly can't wait to hold a physical copy in my hands! Wishing you a peaceful and purpose-filled week, Beth PS - Here's a gentle reminder of how you can help with the book release:
